The Best Productivity Planners to Boost Your Confidence

Here are some of the best productivity planners I have found (some trialled and tested) to help you boost your confidence, increase motivation, and plan and achieve your goals.

For as long as I can remember, I have planned my week to help boost my confidence for the week ahead. It's my one ritual, and whether it's accompanied by a glass of Prosecco, a peppermint tea, or a pint of hot water, you will more often than not find me sitting at my kitchen table on Sunday evening planning and reflecting on the week ahead.

Here, I have compiled a list of some of my personal favourite planners and some planners that have come highly recommended.

 

The Perfectly Planned Planner

Personal Experience: Yes.

What I like about this journal: This yearly planner is just right for me. It combines planning, setting goals, and reflecting in a perfect balance. I appreciate how each day has its own page, and I especially like that the weekend shares a page. The month-end reviews are incredibly beneficial, especially for business owners like me. Additionally, the monthly planning and calendar layouts provided at the beginning of each month are invaluable tools.

What I dislike about this journal: Some of the language is a little fluffy for me and I would prefer to see a daily task section instead of a notes section. The weekly planner page is weak in comparison to The Full Focus Planner.

This planner is great for business owners and anyone aiming to tackle their goals over a year. Suitable for beginners and more advanced goal setters. Yes, I recommend this to clients.

 

The Food Medic Habit Journal

Personal Experience: Yes.

What I like about this journal: This journal is elegant uncomplicated, and user-friendly. Each day gets its own page, balancing your work and personal life evenly. I'd suggest it for clients who aren't keen on old-fashioned journaling but could use help with tracking and forming new habits. Plus, the daily prompts are a nice touch!

What I dislike about this journal? As my goals grew larger and life got busier, I realized I needed a journal that could handle more detailed goal setting, reflection, and planning.

This journal is perfect for beginners and anyone who wants to work on creating new habits. Yes, I recommend this to clients.

 

The Full Focus Planner

Personal Experience: Yes.

What I liked about this journal: This planner is very well laid out, offering plenty of room to jot down detailed goals and organize your week. I used it for more than a year, and I've really appreciated how helpful the weekly previews are.

What I dislike about this journal: This planner is not for the faint of heart, and I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners. When I bought the planner at first, I didn't dive in right away. I hesitated because I found it a bit too much to handle. One thing that bothered me was how the weekends were structured the same as the weekdays, which resulted in a lot of blank pages, feeling wasteful. Over time, I started feeling like the 12-week blocks were too brief and started wanting a yearly planner instead.

Suitable for advanced goal setters and planners. Yes, I recommend this to clients.

 

The Head Plan

Personal Experience: No.

What I like about this journal: This journal, Irish-owned and beautifully designed, makes journaling accessible, even for the busiest folks looking to prioritize goals and self-care. I especially adore the layout of the weekly and daily pages.

What I dislike about this journal: Since I haven't personally used this journal, I can only explain why I've chosen not to try it. It’s too much of an everything journal. When I plan or journal, I prefer a no-fuss approach to zeroing in on just one or two aspects of my life.

This planner is perfect for anyone who wants a tool to support them through multiple aspects of life. Yes, I recommend it to clients.

 

Daily Goal Setter Planner

Personal Experience: No

What I liked about this journal: I really like Mal Paper for their simple yet super effective productivity journals and planners (especially since they're from the same folks who gave us The Habit Journal). If you are new to planning and goal setting, this planner is perfect for you!

What I disliked about this journal: I haven't tried it yet, but I'll likely give it a shot eventually. To me, Mal Paper seems like the ideal tool for staying organized and focused on productivity, planning, setting goals, and maintaining wellness without any unnecessary fuss.

Suitable for advanced goal setters and planners who like a minimalist and no-fuss approach. Yes, I recommend this to clients (a lot!).
